About Tony

A working appraiser at the front of the room.

Anthony “Tony” Siragusa is an IAAO Senior Instructor, certified for live and virtual delivery, and a working appraiser with nearly two decades of Florida practice. He trained in private appraisal firms from 2007, including commercial work under MAI-designated appraisers, before moving into public assessment in 2014. His work spans commercial and special-use valuation, mass appraisal, the cost, sales and income approaches, and defending values through appeals and litigation, along with post-disaster damage assessment and FEMA floodplain procedures in a coastal county.

In the classroom, Tony keeps the focus on methods people can use right away. He connects IAAO methodology to real assessment work and to the tools offices now rely on, from CAMA and GIS to Power BI and AI-assisted workflows. He holds the RES designation and the Certified Florida Evaluator credential, is a Florida State-Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, is a candidate for the CAE designation, and serves on IAAO’s USPAP and Appraiser Regulatory Committee.
